Malaysia records current account surplus of RM253.4 mln in fourth quarter of 2023

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 16 — Malaysia’s current account balance (CAB) recorded a surplus of RM253.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2023, supported by the travel component, the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DoSM) said.

Malaysia's current accounts surplus hits nine-year high to RM62.1 bln

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 11 — Malaysia posted a current account surplus of RM62.1 billion in 2020, the highest in nine years, steered by a favourable performance of the goods account, and narrower deficit in primary income and secondary income, said the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DoSM).
